11:45pm – we just got back from seeing the movie AVATAR. WAOW!!!!… WAOW – WAOW!… is all I can say!
Doug’s daughter told us she went to see this movie three times already. I thought that it must be a sign that it’s a good one – smile.

Though I am not at all into fantasy movies or science fiction, nor too crazy about sitting in front of a show for more than 2 hours… we went to see AVATAR tonight. I typically like the ‘deep’ movies, those that make me ‘wake up’ some more, check in how I live my life and, of course, there must be a LOVE story of some sort… Well, really, otherwise, it’s not a ‘real life story’, right???
With that said, THE MATRIX is one of my favourite movies. And now that I’m thinking about it, both AVATAR and THE MATRIX have a common theme: the craziness of our world. In both these shows, they did an extraordinary job at showing us right in the face (ok… one must be ‘awake’ to see how REAL this ‘un-REAL’ stuff is!) how we are totally disconnected, disjointed, lost… and destroying our world!

As soon as we arrived home after the movie, I felt a deep yearning to cry. My body was feeling all the pain that comes from the destruction of our planet; from the meanness of us, human beings, who are killing our own brothers and sisters; from the suffering of many innocent children… and from the simple ridiculous ‘fights’ that occur every day within family members or business partners.

• What are we running after, after all?
• Why do we have this need to ‘do something’, ‘be someone’?

How silly! Think about it… We’ll be gone in just a little while — do we really want to miss “NOW”?? So, Doug and I were driving back home and I was just connecting with how stupid us, little human beings, we look in our cars, driving in our homes… if just felt so ‘unreal’.

AVATAR was incredibly well done, yes. And beyond the distraction of the digital effects, the depth of the story touched me: I feel like I belong to “the People”. Somehow, I live like them: Nature… Simplicity… Love… no TV, radio, newspaper… aaaaaaah, HEAVEN on earth! I’ve said many times that I am living in the ‘wrong world’. The way my heart and body responded to this movie confirmed this feeling!

‘The People’ (the aboriginals):
simple, beautiful people, living in community and in harmony with animals and Mother Nature. Connected and aware, they tap into their natural ‘extraordinary’ power. Mmmmmm… Just love it!

Then there are the ‘Humans’ and there guns:
“We gotta fight terror with terror” the leader said. This control freak, his team and their guns are so Un-awake… asleep… unconscious… The degree of arrogance and cockiness is beyond my understanding!! And the worst part is that us, human beings in today’s world, are exactly that: cocky creatures who destroy everything on our path in the name of fame, money, success. Aoutchhhh…

I won’t spoil the movie — you gotta go see it for yourself. I invite you to open your heart deeper than you ever have. Don’t let the technical effects take you from the depth of the message behind this movie. You too, will feel the pain of Mother Nature afterwards.

It is mostly translated into English as “incarnation“, though more accurately as “appearance” or “manifestation”.

I received a few notes lately in which people describe the year 2009 as ‘interesting’. Whatever ‘interesting’ means…?!?!?!

Yes! The economic change affected us all: many around us chose ‘fear’ and stopped living, stopped doing the things they love. Their choice.

Do you know that it is in such times (‘recession’) that great entrepreneurs get the most into their ‘millionaire mind set’ and birth new projects, new visions — while ‘everybody else sleeps’?? Smart choice, hey? It is indeed a great time to move, to invest, to get ‘outside of the box’ (was the ‘box’ comfortable anyway??).

On our side, we chose to see the recession as a ‘rich-session’: an OPPORTUNITY TIME. Doing things differently, taking new risks, doing new things – all has been a great and rewarding time on all levels: emotional, spiritual, physical, emotional and financial. Our choice.

Truly, a ‘rich-session’. Truly ‘interesting’.

• What was YOUR choice?

  Did it take you closer to your Life Purpose – or farther away?

A New Year has begun (this morning, in fact…) -see previous post-

Just a couple more days and we’ll be ringing in the New Year. I’m sitting here and wondering why people make it such a big deal?? It is just another day, after all…

Why this big pressure?
Why swim in the big illusion that with the New Year, what we didn’t do in the year past, we WILL accomplish in the new year?
Why get frantic about goals, resolutions, vision boards, you name it… at the end of December or in January?

• So, I’m asking – why don’t you start a New Year…
  EVERY DAY?
• Why not being committed to our success all year round?

Wouldn’t that be helpful to know that you don’t have to beat yourself up for what you didn’t do over the year? That you can start TODAY? This way, your list of goals does not end up under a big pile of paper on your desk, your vision board does not get stored underneath the bed… and you get to recommit EVERY DAY.

I have good news for you:

• A new Year starts every day!

… I suppose these thoughts join the ones I shared on Christmas    (see post below)

A beautiful Friday afternoon, outstanding blue sky and a bright shining sun bless this ‘special’ day.

Like every other day of the year, Doug and I went for our walk in Nature. We typically meet very few people on the trails, and those we meet, most of the time, walk head down, barely noticing us. Today, on Christmas day, we met close to thirty people along the way – all joyful, making eye contact and splashing a big smile accompanied with a bubbly “Merry Christmas!”.

• Why do people take time to go out and play only on Christmas day?
• Why do people make eye contact only on Christmas day?
• Why do people smile only on Christmas day?
  

WOULDN’T THAT BE COOL IF…
the Peace and Love we feel in our hearts on Christmas day was carried through the following 364 days?
… through our business transactions?
… through our interactions with family members?

A friend I reconnected with through Facebook (we had not seen each other for quite some time) responded to my email asking how she is doing: … “I am doing well. Work is hectic and crazy busy so I can’t complain.”

I paused. My heart twitched. It’s like a lightning went through my veins… Instantly, while reading the quick few lines she sent me, I connected with her heart. I took a deep breath and replied: “hmmmmmm… ok, ‘hectic and crazy busy’… I’m sorry to hear! (and ‘I’ would certainly complain about it!! )    I suppose that we just don’t have the same description for LIFE”.

You see, ‘hectic and crazy busy’ in my world means… DEATH because when I was there (not so long ago…), I had forgotten to breathe, I didn’t feel anything (in fact, I was so numb that I had not even realized that I was not feeling anything – living life like a rigid robot, work-work-work!) … and there was no time to PLAY and BE the light that I was. No need to say that I was single (yet was dreaming about ‘finding my man’ – ahahahaha… who was I fooling? how could have he recognized me??? the crazy busy, hard-working ‘woman’ that I was was far from what HE was looking for………………….)
Thank God, this is the past!

Sooooo… TODAY:
I am well and, believe it or not (‘I’ can barely believe it’s true!!!)… living my DREAM LIFE!! I found my over-the-top PERFECT partner who has taken me to the center of my feminine beauty and power. The best way I can describe where I am today is that I have ‘arrived’.

That which I was looking for all my life (LOVE) is in me, beside me and all around me!

• There is nothing that I need to say, do, buy or organize…
• LOVE and PEACE are right here!

It is the most ORGASMIC feeling in the world!!

After getting married, I took a whole year OFF BUSINESS. I needed to surrender and let that BIG LOVE ‘zap me’ – fully! (LOVE is what I’ve been teaching all along after all…). So, it was time to ALLOW it to take my heart 1-0-0 % … I was done (and tired!) with the 98.9%!!

LOVE… my whole life has been (and IS) about LOVE… I ‘love’ it!
It is a big Life Purpose… and the best gift yet is that Doug brought his 15 years of ministry experience and his heart for people and relationships to join this powerful journey.

Yes, a big Life Purpose! and -surely- a ‘painful one’: the more Doug and I reach out to help people with relationship matters, the more we see the suffering. I sometimes get to the point where I can barely take all this suffering in……….. my heart bleeds… I cry deeply to let it all go.

Reality is that we live in a ‘crazy busy’ world where most people don’t believe in Love anymore… they walk around with their heart closed.

19 couples we know, some more intimately than others, have separated since Christmas last year… 19 couples!!!!! Imagine the atrocious pain in our hearts: us, as relationship mentors, we yearn to help – yet no body reaches out or grasped the hand when we extended it. It’s simply heart (mind) blowing! … And, just a few months ago, how painful it was to hear from a girlfriend who moved to the States, got married in June this year and finished her journey in a Women’s shelter penniless and homeless!

Doug and I live in Calgary and, after this one year of ‘no business’, he joins me in this Divine Journey. With this PURPOSEFUL LOVE, we have just re-birthed “Emerge-and-See Life Coaching” and are making ourselves available to those who want this type of Love (life).

No, no… no workshops or seminars! We simply invite people to be part of our life and spend time together. We believe in LIVING love (life)… not just ‘talking it’. So anyone is invited to join us on our various activities and trips (locally or not).

Many people have asked how I do it… So, here is my secret:
When I want to manifest something – there is a 4-step process I go through:

1. I make sure that I am clear on what it is exactly I want…
2. I identify the “WHY”.
   If the ‘why’ is in line with my life purpose, I then move to step 3 and 4:
3. I set an intention, which I confirm and deepen every day through the power of prayer
4. Action – Action – Action!

This is how I manifested not only a BUYER for my condo (my prayer was to sell before the end of the year, at the asking price: Nov. 30^th is the possession date), but also a RENTER to cover for my costs in November. On Thursday Oct. 29^th, both buyer AND renters were in my condo – just like that!!!! Buyer to write the purchase agreement – Renters walked in and dumped a bunch of cash to take it right away until end of November!

Having an intention is one thing…
if you know the “WHY”, it will happen much faster

Praying about something is one thing…
if you believe it can happen, it will happen much faster

Having an intention, be clear on your “why”, believe you can have it and pray… is great…
if you don’t take some kind of ACTIONS towards what you want, you can sit there and wait… and wait… and wait… and wait…

Our prayers are ALWAYS answered!

This doesn’t mean there won’t be challenges along the way! There were several times during this process where circumstances could have caused us to question whether the sale was going to happen or not (delays, lack of communication, timeline on the buyer’s side).

The important thing to remember is
that we must continue to focus on where we are going (the result) and not let a ‘bump on the road’ stall us!

Make sure you know exactly WHAT you are asking for… and WHY (is it taking you closer to your life purpose – or farther away from it???). Then take ACTION!
