Yet, we became masters of ways to protect ourselves from LOVE.

- YOU ARE SINGLE…

·         Maybe you are hiding behind an overweight body, claiming that people of the opposite sex are too this, or too that…?

·         or maybe you are using the protection wall “I am much happier alone” or the standard “I don’t need a man/woman”…?

·         or maybe it is the destructive world of addictions that keep you in your shell avoiding the real world, the real you and your full power (drugs, lies, alcohol, sex, food, – you name it)…?

·         or are they the stories that you tell yourself and others that keep you from opening your heart and, therefore, ensure your single hood?

Ultimately, the message you’re sending to the Universe is “I don’t deserve…” and you are alone, hence now have a good reason to complain about your condition, about others and how they are or are not – and about life!

- YOU ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP…

·         Maybe you are having an affair…

·         or perhaps just fantasizing about a ‘better’ partner (emotional affair)…

·         or letting yourself indulge in unhealthy flirtatious behaviors…?

·         or you have neglected your own spiritual, emotional, physical and financial growth… ?

·         or could it be that you are not opening your heart fully to your partner – in other words, not committing 100% to him/her, to the relationship and to your success as a couple?

Ultimately, he/she leaves and moves on and you are now alone, hence have a good reason to complain about your condition, about others and how they are or are not – and about life!

For certain people, Stampede in Calgary, AB (Canada) is an opportunity to get out and get drunk. For some others, it is about honouring horses and the western spirit. For many, it is about having fun at the Stampede Grounds and brave all the rides.

For us this year, it was about connecting with the talents of all of the ‘actors’ of the many entertainments to be seen, such as the rodeo, the Indian Village dance performances and the Grandstand evening show.

The pure, true, deep “Oneness” was simply created by
each person’s commitment to offer their gift FULLY.

While the sun provided the main spotlight during most of the day, a big storm rolled in in the middle of the chuck wagon races. It forced many spectators, including ourselves, to retreat into the indoor concession area to watch the few last races on television monitors.

UNSTOPPABLE these ouriders and chuck wagon drivers were!… not to forget the horses, of course!! The thrill of the race kept them all going.

As the rain continued to fall relentlessly, we were wondering if the Evening Show was going to take place. It is at 10pm that the first performers took the stage despite the continuous heavy rain.

UNSTOPPABLE these singers, musicians, dancers and other performers were! The rain is now pounding and they are all smiling and giving everything they have! The stage is slippery… the temperatures are everything but summer-like… and here they are: shining and offering their gift. While we were personally blessed with the gift of indoor seating in the VIP section, many spectators stood in the rain, cheering, supporting and applauding the UNSTOPPABLE and incredibly talented artists.

Truly, it was a day filled with Art, Elegance and Talent!

My heart was blown away by the beauty, talent and commitment of each performer and felt as if I was one of them. I felt pure “Oneness”. Talking about ‘Oneness’ – the connection that the dancers established with the rain, with the slippery floor, with the cool wind and with the public was powerful to watch and feel. The artists did not let outside circumstances distract them from their purpose: despite the challenging weather conditions, they each established a sacred relationship with the equipment, instrument or different props they were using. The pure, true, deep “Oneness” was simply created by each person’s commitment to offer their gift FULLY.
